The UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, reaching over 16,000 young people every year. Starting out as a night shelter, Centrepoint’s work with young people has evolved beyond all recognition over the last 50 years.

From providing more than 800 bed spaces for homeless young people to offering employment, mental health and life skill support. Centrepoint are making a real difference to helping young people move on from homelessness into an independent life. But with more than 118,000 young people in the UK experiencing homelessness last year, and one young person facing homelessness every four minutes, they are in need more than ever.

At mydeposits, we introduced an option for our tenants to donate the interest earned on their deposits to our chosen charity, Centrepoint, rather than claiming it themselves. With over 30,000 tenants choosing to contribute, they have made a huge impact to supporting Centrepoint’s work. To support the generosity from our tenants donations, our mydeposits teams have taken part in a variety of fundraising events and volunteering activities with Centrepoint. Together, in the first year of our partnership, an incredible £300,000 has been raised.
