Where in the landlord lifecycle are you?

“Packed with expert advice, I wish I’d had this when I was a new landlord.”

This was what experienced landlord Richard Blanco said of the new Landlord Lifecycle Guide and videos which we have just released.

“I’ve been a landlord for 11 years and has heard countless stories from new landlords who’ve been caught out for not understanding their obligations and simply not understanding what to do and when to do it,” said Blanco.

“So I’ve helped write the landlord lifecycle video to pass on my experiences and tips to help others avoid the potential pitfalls and ensure a happy tenancy for all.”

We speak to plenty of landlords, including Richard, on a regular basis who’ll confirm that this isn’t necessarily true, particularly when you consider that there are now over 50 Acts of Parliament and more than 70 sets of regulations governing the private-rented sector and the consequences of not knowing or understanding them can be disastrous.

If you’re already a landlord or considering becoming one, there are some key considerations you should take into account to ensure that the process runs smoothly.
