my|deposits has unveiled a new easy-to-use website that is tailor-made for the key users of tenancy deposit protection.
The new site has been split into three dedicated sections for landlords, agents and tenants so the information is focused on the different needs of each user.
Each section contains guidance on deposit protection and legislation, a range of practical information including assistance on disputes, a simple step-by-step chart outlining how my|deposits works, and the latest news from the sector.
Tenants can find out instantly if their deposit is protected with my|deposits using the tenant look up facility.
A detailed FAQs section and jargon buster has also been introduced to help clear up any confusion surrounding tenancy deposit protection.
Eddie Hooker, CEO of my|deposits, commented:
“Our new website has been built on the suggestions of our users. We held focus groups and workshops to ensure that landlords, agents and tenants have a my|deposits website that is simple to use and navigate.
“It is vital we offer all our users the best my|deposits experience possible and continue to build upon our unrivalled customer service that we have become renowned for. Our website is the key to this. Visits are increasing every month and over 80 per cent of our members now use the website to protect new deposits.
“Our members can do pretty much everything on our website now. Landlords can join online and all our members can protect their tenant’s deposits instantly from the member’s area.
“We are also the only deposit protection scheme to provide an online dispute resolution service, where evidence can be uploaded online saving time and postage.”
