Berkshire-based Romans Lettings has just been named as the best lettings agency in the country at the Lettings Agency Awards 2011 – recognised as one of the highest accolades in the UK’s property industry.

Held in association with the Times and the Sunday Times at a prestigious ceremony in London on 7th June, the awards were judged by an independent panel of property experts, including Susan Hughes-Thomas, President of ARLA (the Association of Residential Lettings Agents), Nick Leeming, Chairman of Zoopla, and Peter Bolton-King, Chairman of NFOPP (National Federation of Property Professionals).

Chaired by The Property Ombudsman Christopher Hamer, the panel praised Romans for the company’s “quality of customer service and innovation”, and for its “passion, dedication and vision”.

The Lettings Agency of the Year Award – the final and most highly regarded award of the event – crowned a hugely successful evening for Romans, who also won Gold in three other categories: Best Marketing, Best Medium Sized Lettings Agency in the South East and Best Medium Sized Lettings Agency in the UK.

Lettings Managing Director Peter Fuller and Regional Director Martin Hembra were presented with the awards by double Olympic gold champion Dame Kelly Holmes.
