If you take a deposit from your tenant of less than £300, you can now protect the deposit for just £17.12.
Members of the National Landlords Association (NLA) can join mydeposits for just £10 until
1 November 2010. They will also receive a further discount of £4 per deposit for their first four deposit protections - see the NLA website for details.
mydeposits is a "pay-as-you-go" scheme.
- Deposit Protection Fee for each tenancy deposit
that you protect. This will protect the deposit for the duration of the tenancy agreement
, however long that might be. - For a Joint & Several Tenancy Agreement
, you only pay one Deposit Protection Fee to cover the whole deposit. - All fees are payable by credit or debit card – we do not provide credit account facilities.
- All fees are tax deductible and include VAT.
- Discounts are available for members of the National Landlords Association and some other professional organisations.
- The annual membership renewal fee of £14.70 has been waived every year for all Landlord members.
- Disputes: if the Landlord and Tenant disagree about how much of the deposit should be returned. mydeposits offers a free and impartial Dispute Resolution service
